AWA came and went
So AWA ended on Sunday. So what's taken me so long to post right?
Well, when I got back home, I went right back into job mode and I spent the first few days this week getting packages together to ship off. I've only got one left to go out and then I'll be done shipping. Unfortunately I didn't make much this year.
It was kind of weird because everyone else was all I made $$$ this year it was awesome, or I didn't make as much, but I certainly made $$$. I was like really? I didn't do so well. I won't go into numbers, but let's just say I couldn't pay anybody back. So that will have to wait. I also just remembered to packages that mis-shipped that I also need to rectify. [first time it's ever happened where I shipped the wrong item or forgot to add an item so I need to get those packages out] (>_>) Poverty's such a b-thingy.
Meanwhile, the printing didn't quite go as planned. I was all set to use my mom's printer as she said I could (see tumblr) and when I start, the ink goes. Like, as I'm doing my first picture. So I had only the prints that I'd done previously which sucked, but it was better than nothing. Ironically, those weren't even the prints that sold. The cheapo prints did sell however. I have an overstock of old art that I'm trying to get rid of which I'll be posting for sale on my site in a couple of weeks. So please feel free to stop by and make a purchase. I'll have links up when they go up for sale. I won't be selling them for $1 though because of shipping (that's how much they were at con)
I'll have a picture post up as soon as I finish editing my photos so you guys can see how my table looked and what I was wearing. I ended up chasing Big Macintosh to get a picture. I asked them to come back so I could get a pic at my table, but it was Sunday and I didn't want to risk not getting one. There were tons of MLP FiM people and I need to get the pics off of my cell phone and upload them. I've already got the pics my friend took for me on her camera edited and ready, but I want to post them all at once.

AWA
OMG, ok, so AWA is in four days....I'm like...╰(O◇O)╯
I feel like I'm all over the place trying to get things done. As anyone from tumblr who's been following me knows, I've been working with absolutely no funding. I've been blessed to have amazing friends to help me out so things are working themselves out on the place to stay and transportation end, so I focused solely on what I would have there as of last week. While I couldn't do everything I wanted, I was able to get a few pieces done. Right now I'm working on all that last minute stuff. Mostly this will consist of some quick pieces and a printing as well as finalizing the details of my outfits.
I've been selling on ebay, so I've got a little bit of money, but it's going right into financing the last minute stuff since I need to buy paper to print on and for commissions as well as that one brand of glue that actually works on my rings (I'm making a few more) and maybe some more deco boxes.
